Cherry print dollie wearing a capelet adorned with a vintage heart button
This lil one is wearing our favorite Japanese imported fabric ~ Sunny Day Bumble Bee.
Little Twin Stars Fabric! 🙂
Our batch of dolls will be listed in the shop tomorrow (3/24) at 1pm PST. Come by and take a look!
I finally got my act together and made the Hello Kitty hat pattern for the lil sisters. Lil sis and I also purchased another small batch of Hello Kitty fabric + a few of The Little Twin Stars fabric. Do you remember Little Twin Stars? How cute were they?!

The lil sis below is wearing the new fabric. I will only only be able to make 1-2 dolls out of each fabric so I’m sparingly using it 🙂
She will also part of the shop update on March 24th! I have one last doll to take pictures of before the rain comes!

and the twins bday is only 2 months away! I’m close to deciding on a place. I’ve decided that until they get older, we will just host their parties at different locations. Much easier. Much less to do. Much less stress.
This year they will be turning the BIG 5! I know everyone and their mothers say this but seriously where does the time go? Lil sis and I have been brainstorming ideas for the invites and I can’t wait to get started! I also have a huge project (for the party favors) that I’ll need to get started on. Always nice to include something handmade, don’t you think?
Here’s another girlie that will be in the shop March 24th.
Although I’ve completed a few dolls for the update, I have not made a dent in their scrapbooks! Oh, what to do?! I have already decided to make digital albums for their 3rd and 4th year but b/c I already started scrapbooking their 2nd year, there is no turning back. Inquiring minds want to know…what do you do with all your children’s pictures?

We will have approximately 8 new dolls (give or take) in the shop March 24th! Time has yet to be determined but we’ll let you know…gotta work out nap schedules, pick up from preschool, so forth.
Here’s one that is anxiously waiting.
Both the trim on the hat and her dress are Japanese imported.
More pictures to come. Happy Tuesday!

It’s been 100 days since Tabitha was born. That calls for a celebration in our culture!!
We catered Buca Di Peppo (love their Chicken Carbonara), and for dessert we had strawberry ice cream cake and a rice cake. I wanted to spruce up the cake, so I made a mini bunting cake topper.
I’m in love with bunting cake toppers now! They’re super easy to make, and you can make them out of fabric, paper, ribbon…pretty much anything. I’ve even seen some made out of old newspapers.
Here are some pretty ones I found:
I found another way to display the bunting after we ate the delicious cake!
A tutorial on how to make this can be found here on TomKat’s site as well as the free download for the flags that I used.

Remember waaaaay back when…in December…when I mentioned I was doing my first trade…well, ahem, I’m finally getting around to blogging about it now. So Ruby of MyCakies contacted me back then and offered to trade/swap items. Well, you can only imagine my excitement! Here’s what I made for 2 of her girls.
Custom big sis dollies wearing Hello Kitty hats.
and here’s what I was gifted.
one for me! and one for my daughter! They are dollhouse pillows! Absolutely freakin cute! Yes, I may be too old to play with dolls but never too old for collecting cutesy stuff like this! In fact, they stayed out on my couch for almost a month before they found permanent homes on our beds. You can find much bigger versions of this dollhouse pillow in her shop. Thanks again, Ruby! You made by 1st swap such an awesome one 😉
